ONLINE SHOPPING

The internet is one of the scariest place I know. I thought I've encountered na lahat ng kabulastugan sa cyber space but I was wrong. Last year, a friend of mine bought a P19,000 2nd hand MAC notebook from ebay. Before pa nya bilhin yon, she had a handful of experience naman na buying her stuffs online kaya mejo ok na lang sakanya makipag-transact ng libo-libo. Little did she know, she's up for a scam na pala. To cut the dramatic and pagka-shonga-shongang story short, AYON! Hindi nya natanggap yung laptop..

Fast forward. MAY 2010!

Nauso sa facebook ang tag-tag ng mga products! May mga damit ng koreano, bad ng koreano, sapatos ng koreano, mga imitation na Lacoste, Jansport, branded make-ups for less, mga Victoria's Secret lotion at perfume na galing Singapore, EWAN! May galing pa nga ng HK! Pinagkaiba daw yung tagal ng amoy sa katawan mo. Slimming pills ng Japon, slimming coffee, at sinong makakalimot sa akala mo NOKIA yun pala NOKLA? For a while, pumatok ang China phone! Mura na, fake pa! PANALO! Replica bags, replica wallets, at eto ang kinaloka ko ng bongga AUTHENTIC BRAND AAA BAGS. anyareh? :|

So dahil super dami kong nakikitang tag tag na ganon sa feeds ko, hindi maiiwasan ang kumlik-click once in a while tama? haha! The first time I tried online shopping, was netong May lang. I bought an 88 palette Coastal Scents make-up which costs P999 yet again, to make my katangahan kwento short, NADENGGOY AKO pH0w$z! :(

But I have been vigilant na after what happened. Yung mga sumunod kong online transactions, naging ok naman na! azamaterofak, I ordered a dress from an online seller all the way from IloIlo pa. Mga plus-size clothes kase ang products nya and here it is!

My package was delivered 3 days after I paid for my items and shipping fee. Notice the necklace? Won it from an online auction naman. I bought it for just P90. P30 cheaper from tiangge and P60 cheaper from malls.

SIMPLE POINTS TO REMEMBER WHEN SHOPPING ONLINE:
- Once na nakakit ka ng something na napupusuan mo, go directly to  terms and conditions nya and check for the mode of payment. If GCASH and/or SMART MONEY lang ang choices, mag-isip ka na. Hanap ka at least bank account.

- Check the seller's albums. Better kung may proof of shippings, receipts and the likes.

- Find people who already had transactions with the seller tapos magtanong.

- Ask as much questions as possible.  and last but not least,

- If sure ka na na legit yung online seller, make sure na you comply with their policy and you pay on or before their cut-off time! :)
